Sitting still in front of moving traffic
Moving alongside people
Watching the world go by
On the road, grace is found in chaos
Dust lifting up against the asphalt
Endless flow of life.

[from Delhi]
From the major commuter road, one could never imagine this peaceful corner, tucked at the end of a leafy passageway. Night and day, a pack of stray dogs were guarding the museum entrance with devotion.
September
With its warm daylight and chilly morning breeze
The ‘back-to-school’ feeling that hints at all the things left to do, and to look forward to…
Looking at my own archive of decade-old images.
I reminisce past moments and wonder if they will be reborn as new narratives.
Some things become visible as time passes, through the contrasts that life offers.

[from London] post-event notes
Is home a location? An environment, a feeling? What makes us feel “at home”?
A few thoughts shared during the event At Home, which took place at P21 Gallery in London.

Poterie Ravel
One of the oldest ceramic manufacturers in France. Handmade, since 1837.

Summer begins

A decade of notes etc…
Diving into a decade of old notes, photographs and sketches to make a new composition out of fragments of the past.

Turning corners
[Notes from George Town, Malaysia]
Return after five years.
Looking at heritage, as one element that is embedded in the flow of everyday life.

Soleil de plomb / Rhizome
Beyond the shade,
The sun is as heavy as lead.
On my way, I found a sacred tree squeezed in between the Mandarin Oriental and Hilton hotels.

Take-off and (soft) landing
From the abstract lines of CDG airport to the sunrise in Bangkok.

[book]
To rethink democracy through a different lens, not rooted in ancient Athens but in Ionia, a no-rule entity based on a lack of social divisions… One of the most fascinating books I have read in a long time.

Winter, frost, spring, sunlight
Days when winter recedes to welcome spring. Soon the sharpness of the cold air will be a distant memory…

A new year
K-drama, used books and COVID-19
After three years, I grew steadily convinced that I had some sort of natural immunity against COVID-19 but December 2022 brought me back to reality. It was also an opportunity to dive into layered fictional narratives.

Autumn of gold
One familiar path to awaken the senses.

Fragments of non-published work
Sometimes drawings are meant to live a life outside of their original purpose. Free to be interpreted and imagined further.

Intervals
The moments that make Paris, Paris.

A room with a view
Half a year in Bangkok
Living in a hotel
With a view.

Lessons from a broken arm
“On a scale of 1 to 10, where would you situate the intensity of the pain?” Pain is not exactly an easy thing to measure. In the weeks ahead, I will try to achieve something with less.
Shadows and Light
On the Mediterranean waters’ edge at Les Bords de Mer followed by the Grand Mezze exhibition at MUCEM, Marseille.
