Eclectic finds from my new reading corner at the library of the Jim Thompson Art Center in Bangkok. Sometimes the most exciting thing is to find a few treasures that seem to have been long forgotten on the shelves.

Successive cloudless days gradually elevated the temperature to above 40ºC.

The streets outside are emptied.

Like seeing old friends again, I greeted the familiar sights, sounds, fragrance and feel of the city.

A brief stay in Paris which was marked by the beginning of the war in Ukraine. Unable to think of much else, I walked the streets of the city with different eyes.

I used to write a blog for many years and stopped doing so a few years ago as social media networks took over. Today I want to start again, share my thoughts and fragments of moments lived in this old-fashioned format.
