Spaces Vol. 1

Because it is rare to find contemporary narratives about southeast Asian cultures, particularly through local perspectives, I started this humble editorial project in 2019 in collaboration with contributors from the region to give exposure to different ways of being. From organic farming to ecological architecture, traditional knowledge and urban developments, the publication shares the realities of a region defined by its diversity and inevitable social transitions.

With contributions by Supawut Boonmahanakorn (JaiBaan Studio), Netting Jaruwan Supolrai (Mekong Nomad Organic Farm), Bintang Putra and Kenta Kishi (@habitatstudies), Tessa Bunney (@tessabunney), Vipavee Kittitien (@santarana), Adib Jalal (@adibjalal) and Ayip Budiman (@kopikultur).
