September

September

With its warm daylight and chilly morning breeze

The ‘back-to-school’ feeling that hints at all the things left to do, and to look forward to…

Spending this month in the countryside, before making my way back to the noise and movements of urban life.

Weekdays at the office.

Weekends, cycling, reading with the windows wide open and listening to the wind flowing through the autumn leaves, wondering whether I should publish something online.

Days and weeks go by, dotted with the poetic words of distant strangers that I catch like small treasures here and there… online, offline.

Their expression infuse my mind as I reflect on an editorial project that has been in the pipeline for several years already.

Progress has been slow, but I am starting to see a contour.

Looking at my own archive of decade-old images.

I reminisce past moments and wonder if they will be reborn as new narratives.

Some things become visible as time passes, through the contrasts that life offers.
